Soffit, Fascia & Eavestrough

Soffit, fascia and eavestrough work together along your roofline — the fascia frames the edge, vented soffit keeps the attic breathing, and 5″ & 6″ eavestrough carries water safely away. We install, replace and repair all three in major supplier colours.

Soffit, fascia & eavestrough in London & area

The system that keeps water off your home

Soffit, fascia and eavestrough are easy to overlook, but together they do one of the most important jobs on your house: moving water away from the roof, walls and foundation while letting your attic breathe. When they are working, you never think about them. When they are not, you get ice dams in winter, troughs overflowing in a downpour, peeling paint, and water pooling against the foundation.

Select Renovations installs, replaces and repairs all three. We hang 5″ and 6″ eavestrough sized to your roof’s runoff, fit vented soffit to keep the attic dry and the shingles lasting longer, and finish the edge with clean fascia in major supplier colours. Downspouts and extensions carry water well clear of the house — so the whole system actually does its job.

Common questions

Soffit & eavestrough questions we hear a lot

Should I get 5-inch or 6-inch eavestrough?

It depends on your roof. Larger or steeper roofs shed a lot of water fast, and 6″ eavestrough with bigger downspouts handles that volume far better — fewer overflows and clogs. For many homes 5″ is plenty. We will recommend the right size when we measure.

How do I know my eavestroughs need replacing?

Sagging or pulling-away sections, water spilling over the sides in rain, peeling paint or rust, pooling water near the foundation, and leaking joints are all signs. If they are simply clogged or a single joint has failed, a repair or cleaning may be all that is needed.

Why does soffit venting matter?

Vented soffit lets fresh air into the attic, which keeps it dry, helps prevent ice dams in winter, and extends the life of your shingles. Blocked or missing venting traps heat and moisture — a common cause of premature roof wear and mould.

Do you offer contractor eavestrough delivery too?

Yes. Alongside installation, we supply and deliver 5″ and 6″ eavestrough cut to length to contractor jobsites across the region, usually within 24 to 48 hours. See our Eavestrough Delivery page or call 519-280-7227.
